Wheatfields Nursery Committee
The nursery is run by an elected committee, which ensures that major decision making is in the hands of the parents/carers who use the group.
The committee meets once every half term and is responsible for the business, management and coordination of the nursery. It is responsible for reviewing both policy and practice, and for the employment and appraisal of members of staff. The committee also organise various fundraising events throughout the year to raise money to buy new resources, toys and equipment for the children to use at nursery. If you would like to come to a committee meeting or help with a nursery event, please speak to the nursery supervisor for more details.
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held in the Autumn term. The committee for the following year is elected during this meeting. We warmly welcome new committee members, no previous experience necessary. Parents and carers will be informed in good time so they are able to attend.

Should the proposed transfer to school management be successful, the comittee will cease to exist but there will still be a role for parental involvement.
