With effect from 2nd November 2020, the management of Wheatfields Nursery transferred from Wheatfields Nursery Association to Wheatfields Primary School. The information on this website may no longer be up to date. Please contact the nursery (01480) 494960 for any queries.

What to wear / what to bring

Your child is not required to wear a uniform when attending nursery.

We provide a variety of exiting and stimulating activities including: painting, playdough, sticking, water play, junk modelling, outdoor activities including riding bikes, digging and exploring the mud kitchen. Whilst aprons are available to wear at all times, children can get sticky/messy so we ask that you send your child to nursery in clothes that you don't mind them getting dirty.

Summer

During warmer months of the year, please wear closed toe sandals, canvas shoes or trainers. No open toed sandals crocs or flip flops please for health and safety reasons. Please come to nursery wearing suncream and bring a sunhat. Our garden is south facing so all children need suncream and sunhat on at all times. If your child is at nursery for a full day, please send suncream so that staff can reapply it for the afternoon session.

Winter

During colder months, please bring a warm coat, hat, gloves and scarf.

All year round

Please can your child bring a bag containing nappies, wipes and spare underwear/change of clothing as appropriate.

Please ensure all clothes, bags, sunhat and suncream are named. Thank you.
